Mens Style Inspiration: Chill Valentine’s Day Brunch and Bomber Jacket
Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching… Traditionally, our celebrations have been super chill and not at all fussy. Back when we were dating, that might have been a different story. But we’ve been married for so long (our 20 year is coming up), I think we both just look forward to a quiet time together.
Don’t get me wrong, men if you’re reading this, that doesn’t mean it’s okay to forget the flowers and card. In fact, after so many years together, you should already know her favorite bouquet. Just a friendly note:)
Now, for what to wear… Special occasions call for dressing up–even if it’s for a casual lunch or brunch. That’s code for “go with a nice button-down.”
Get the Look: We’ve made reservations for brunch. This is totally perfect and casually chic. MN winters definitely require a heavier layer, so anything in wool would be great. We went with a bomber jacket which has been a huge trend this season. This style by ASOS happens to be on mega sale! It’s not super heavy. If you need extra coverage, just add a shawl collar sweater to the look. Keep everything streamlined with darker tones and slim denim. And don’t forget a great leather watch.
