Mens Style Inspiration: The Navy Blazer and Jeans for Valentine’s Day Brunch
Thanks for checking back everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend. As promised, let’s talk Valentine’s Day…
Men, if you have a great sportcoat or blazer in your closet, it’s time to put it to work. Now, that’s not the same thing as a suit jacket. Rather, we’re going for something more casual chic in a cotton blend or even unstructured style for this daytime event.
Get the Look: Highlighting this season’s blazer in navy. It’s the new classic, and totally flawless. The look is casual yet polished for a Valentine’s Day brunch with the family. Of course, this would be amazing for a couple’s date too. What’s special about this blazer is that it’s nicely tailored with great structure, and has a slimming cut . The pocket square may just be the best part. What a chic addition! Guys, there are so many ways you can wear it. For daytime, I think the two-point fold is a fun option. A white button-down would be a classic choice here. But I also love a chambray shirt which is unexpected and cool. Again, slim denim for this look–in black or indigo would be perfect. Finish with low-top leather sneakers in white, and a great watch.
Note: Be sure to keep the shirt tucked in for a polished feel.
