Style Inspiration: Ripped Jeans + Florals

Hope you’re all having a great week. These past few days for us have been interesting to say the least. From Ayden getting a black eye at softball practice (his first) to celebrating an early Mother’s Day with the family–it was a bit of a roller coaster. Parents, if your child has ever been hit in the eye with a ball, you’ll understand how frightening it is. Fortunately, all is okay.Mother’s Day brunch was delicious. As usual, we ate too much. But as a family of foodies, that’s what we love to do. Yesterday’s outfit was for a casual evening out. I went with a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans, floral blouse, and pumps. It doesn’t get much easier than this combo. The necklace was another fab find at TJ Maxx. You don’t see it in this blush color very often–it worked perfectly with my blouse. I went out of the box with this style. Because for jewelry, I tend to veer towards metals. Definitely a happy purchase. I kept the rest of the accessories simple to compliment the necklace. And a black leather clutch finishes the look.

Note: If you need an extra layer, go with a great moto jacket in black, light grey or nude.
